Humanitas Anabaptist-Mennonite Centre acts as a unique resource for a number of different individuals and groups who want to address today’s pressing issues and challenges from an Anabaptist-Mennonite theological perspective. Humanitas aims to provide credible content that has scholarly depth, precision, and rigor for those who are intellectually disenfranchised by addressing issues of interest, importance, and relevance in a world of perennial challenges and vexing questions. By drawing out an Anabaptist-Mennonite theological outlook from the broader Christian tradition, the activities of Humanitas are also available to the academy through the dissemination of its research in peer-reviewed journals and reputable publications.

While the content that the Centre produces may be academically rigorous, Humanitas is as equally committed to becoming a resource for churches and para-church organizations—both Mennonite and non-Mennonite alike—that can benefit from the expertise of highly regarded and reliable scholars and resources. In this sense, Humanitas provides a forum for serious dialogue and meaningful engagement with a complex array of intersecting questions from across the spectrum of emerging intellectual trends in which any reflective person—from the credentialed scholar to the curious layperson—who’s interested in the integration of faith and learning from an Anabaptist-Mennonite theological imagination is encouraged to participate.
